Routine functions

Check the present and previous status of the

department.

Maintain all the emergency equipments and

medicines.

Inventory check.

Handle all emergencies.

Transferring patients.

Functional responsibilities

Giving CPR in Cradi-Pulmonary Arrest and

drawing sample of ABG.

Suctioning which include-oral, endo-

tracheal,tracheostomy and laryngeal suctioning.

Assisting doctors for central line insertion and

care of patients with invasive lines and tubeslike arterial and central lines,chest tubes, Foleys

catheter, epidural lines.

Assisting physician in procedures like Lumber

pucture,arterial puncture etc.

Care of poisonous and narcotic drugs.

Taking ICU and Ward Inventories and stock

keepingECG monitoring.

Cardiac monitoring.

Blood transfusion.

Calculation of dosage of medications.
