Experience

Order Puller, Shipper, Backup Delivery Driver

Marc Miller Buick GMC

June/2014 - April/2021

In the morning, I was responsible for stocking the smallest parts in the parts department, making sure will call and delivery orders get pulled as soon as possible and set on the correlating shelf to be prepped to deliver or be picked up, and also anytime I was idle I would categorize the invoices for afternoon shipping and set them in the tray to be pulled by the pullers or help stock other people's parts downstairs in the same area I was working in. In the afternoon, I was a shipper I had a desk I had to stand up at and I had to box the parts, tag them with their invoice, and add them to the manifest to be accounted for when they arrive at their destination. I printed off the count sheets for all the shippers everyday at 4:10 and I had to transfer the box count from that day onto the count sheet. I had to print off the shipping manifests from the warehouse at 5:10 and add those to the count sheet so all the boxes from the warehouse and the parts department that are being shipped on my route can be accounted for on these stapled pieces of paper. Then I had to help the pullers push the boxes out onto the trucks, feed them to the trucker and help the other shippers finish their manifests then after the trucks were loaded and the other shippers were done I could leave for the day.

Laborer

Harger Pole Barns

06/2009 - 05/2012

Moving the materials, unloading tools, operating heavy equipment such as a SkyLift, assisting in every process of building a Pole Barn laborwise, holding trusses up and nailing them into the top part of the walls to set the roof, setting up girders, helping with concrete finishing, cleaning up of the job site and helping pack of the tools at the end of the day. It was always long hours that were difficult to predict basically we worked daylight to dark one time I worked 22 hours straight.

Education

Student

Charles Page High School

2005 - 2007

I did not graduate but I got my G.E.D.

Notes on Work Ethic

I am a loyal, efficient worker that will literally go all day just doing my job without interacting with any coworkers in a non-efficient way. I can work on a team as well, as a matter of fact my mindset is built to work as a team towards a similar goal but I have also adapted over time to work just as good by myself. I'm not going to be able to do the same workload as five people working together by myself in the same time period but it will be done with the smallest tolerance for mistakes and the largest expectations for success and moving onto the next task without having to look back and fix the damage caused. I also had to commute to Tulsa everyday from Sand Springs for 7 years while I was working at Marc Miller and I understand not a lot of people can or will do that nowadays.

Remodel Crew at Walmart

I do have experience walking the floor helping customers working at Walmart in Sand Springs as a part of the remodel crew back about 13 years ago when it was getting turned into a Super Walmart. I helped move the shelves and stuff and rearranged the entire store with quite a few others.

Wendy's

Order Taker

One of my first jobs I ever had I was an order Taker at the drive thru window at Wendy's and had to learn to build rapport and disposition with the regulars at the least but really everyone deserved courtesy and an attempt to try to get them to want to come back for the service and the sincerity.
