Check hazardous freight through the HAZARDOUS MATERIALS DOT MODE INFORMATION screen in DSS to determine how the items should be packed, in packing groups I, II, or III. If using Group II needs to be concealed in its own can or drum, boxed, Group III would be plastic sealed, paper, boxed. Go under DSS PRINT PACKAGE IDENTIFICATION LABEL screen to build a nomenclature label to identify freight, manufacture, liters of content, directive, lot number, expiration date. Placing appropriate hazardous labels on material, such as consignee, directive, United Nations container identification, corrosive, flammables, handle with care, up arrows, do not crush, cargo only. My piers have selected me for a detail as a GS-7 Lead Supply Tech. My detail is under Stephen Howe. Performed a complete range of warehousing duties in building 89 in the medical supply field. I build first aid combat kits on a production line, they are Major and Miner kits. Reporting overage or shortage and condition code discrepancies. Conducts audits and quality checks that are performed using supervisor's approach on inventory process. Analyzing good problem solving and communication skills. Performing research of discrepancies noted during audits and quality checks, collecting data to be used by specialists to analyze trends of recurring discrepancies. Importance of analytical processing with corresponding impact on operational results and strategic goals. Secures exterior container with strapping, taping, clamps or nails to eliminate exposure to freight. Exterior and interior containers are stenciled IAW packing requirements and customer requests. Operates various machines and hand tools. I have analytical ability to implement new system procedures and policies, using knowledge of various automated systems such as dss, fed log, google, etc. I have conducted studies on building mission receipts for new freight do in, I have the analytical ability to research the WAFT program to receive information to help process new freight do in under a contract. I have done some data collection on freight that have no nsn's on them, I had to do a discrepancy report on misdirected overage under on returned freight received. Monitor the rack and bin in our warehouse to keep track of empty and available locations for stowing and re-warehousing. I lift and carried items weighing up to 40 pounds, I'm able to lift greater weights with help from fellow team mates. Training new hires on procedures required.

I'm on a new 120 day detail in Building #80 working the FMS=(Foreign Military Sales) freight. I have worked in all locations to process freight, such as, 1st KCC=(Kind, Count and Condition), Packer, 2nd KCC, WAS, I worked the Medium Heavy Non-Conveyable and Conveyable freight, In check material into warehouse, discrepancy reports on any Overage, Shortage, Wrong Material, Vender Mishaps, Not Properly Packed Freight. Making sure the freight is 100% correct before it leave out to the customer.
