Retired after 30 years of service with Verizon at the age of 50 with full medical coverage as well as a pension that has been rolled into a financial account. The company was an amazing place to work, if not for raising my children and other personal responsibilities, I would still be employed by Verizon. Since retirement I have been spending more time with my teenage son, who is a Senior at BPRVTHS. I also have helped my Nieces & Nephews care for their children, who range in age from newborn to 13 years old. My brother was also diagnosed at the age of 54 with Parkinson’s/Lewy Body Dementia in 2019. For the past 2.5 years I cared for my brother in my home as one of his primary caregivers. Sadly, my brother passed away in March of 2022. I feel at the age I am I still have a lot to offer the professional community and would feel privileged to be considered for employment. Administrative Assistant, Verizon, Worcester MA/Springfield MA Provide all necessary support to office of approximately 150 customer service representatives including but not limited to:

• Processing Payroll for office.

• Data entry.

• Preparing management reports.

• Answering and directing Incoming customer calls.

• Processing all incoming and outgoing mail for office.

• Processing supplier bills through Accounts Payable System using the VSAP application.

• Works with IEX and Real-Time system monitoring Representatives schedules and adjusting as needed. Keeping Representatives on the phone system and adhering to their schedule at all times.

• Weekly updates in Sales progress. Updating office boards using Power-Point.

• Monitoring and keeping Vacation time updated for each employee making sure time matches what employee has for time.

• Tracking Absence. FMLA, FCL knowledgeable.

• Member of the Culture Committee which supports and encourages office moral. Items of interest are celebrating employees Birthday’s, milestones in their career, bringing positive attitude to the office environment and providing a monthly newsletter recognizing employees and upcoming events. Creates a positive work environment.
