As a Sr. Business Analyst for Bank of America’s GUS/GMS (Loan Underwriting and Monitoring) team, I worked as a bridge between business and development team to successfully implement the business requirements and was involved in two internal projects regarding –

•Optimizing GMS application for disabled GCIs – The scope of the project included impact assessment and modification to the loan monitoring system in order to support disabling GCI’s in the current application, while a new common credit underwriting and monitoring system is developed.

•Enhancing GMS application to add new regions – The scope of the project included adding new markets and regions under Commercial Real Estate LOB on the internal loan underwriting and monitoring platform. My responsibilities included facilitating design discussions, creating High Level Design documents, impact analysis and creating UAT scripts.

●Conducted interviews with the business team to gather requirements and evaluate/analyze data needs. Converted the business requirements into IT specifications.

●Identified and documented issues, risk and gaps, descriptions, impact and provided recommendation & alternatives to enhance the application to meet the user requirements.

As a Sr. Business Analyst for Wells Fargo’s Infrastructure Application Technology team, I was involved in two internal projects regarding

•Migration of SharePoint application for server management activities across several line of business to a .Net based application (Kendo) resulting in improved design, performance and new features.

•A Kendo based .Net application for Network Segmentation & Management (Zones, Subzones, IP Addresses, Locations, LOB etc.)

●Captured Business Requirements and underlying need for technology improvements and defined the requirements in the form of Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria

I was involved in creation of the award-winning Walgreens Mobile app for iPad, iPhone and Android devices. As a Product Manager, I created product roadmap based on market analysis and technology evolutions (iOS), gathered requirements and documented them, and provided guidance to other Business Analysts in Mobile Web and web service domain. I worked as a bridge between Walgreens business team and IT development partner (Photon InfoTech) to successfully market four major application releases in1 year, including cutting edge features like Refill by Scan, Transfer by Scan, Passbook, and Aisle locator.

I worked with Amazon website development team to enhance and maintain Bebe.com website. The first Bebe website was created in 2008 using Amazon’s gurupa platform and over the years, we have incorporate new features such as ability to pre-order items, locate in store, Buy Online Pick in Store (BOPIS), and enhancing look and feel of the website.

●Conducting requirement elicitation session with Business partners from Bebe.com, maintaining product backlog and scheduling releases

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. – Senior Business Analyst (Contract) Feb ’10 – Jan ‘12

Product Removal – ‘Food & General Merchandise’, and ‘Health & Wellness’.

I worked as lead business analysis for Walmart’s Product removal project using waterfall model. The project provided huge benefits in terms of managing 80,000 strong SKU inventory by following the product lifecycle and timely removal of the discontinued, inactive and deleted products from PIM using a VB based in house application

Responsibilities:

●Identified the Business needs, developed Scope Models as per the Business Vision and worked on identifying project scope and business value to mitigate scope creep and gaps.

●Created analysis work plan comprising of Activities Plan, Stakeholders Analysis, Communication Plan and requirement management plan to produce a comprehensive plan to develop and manage project
