ACTIVITIES
I actively take initiative inside and outside of the work place. I enjoy leading special projects, and get satisfaction from the end results they bring. I have a helper and can-do mentality. I work well alone and in a group setting. I have taken on many special projects or tasks not necessarily associated with my job title in all of my previous roles. I successfully planned and executed The Easter Egg-stravaganza with Kroger as one of my first projects. I took over the role and responsibility of ordering and suppling uniforms for rebids and new hires, worked with outside suppliers, and ensured supplies were readily available when needed so no associate went without. I actively helped lead the district which included 16 stores while the district manager was out or in need of assistance while with Family Dollar. I had the number one store within the district for sales profit with Family Dollar for 5 years. I was one of the few managers selected out of the entire Zone (roughly 500 stores or more) to attend the Management Advancement Program three years in a row.
