Passion Project

This project was started on an idea that young people should have a place where they can go to talk freely about mental health and its various struggles. This place is not only safe to talk, but to motivate, as well as educate people on this controversial topic. As I personally struggle with mental illnesses, I feel this would help show others it is okay to struggle, but also to motivate and demonstrate that with hard work, it gets better. After doing a survey on social media about the topic, I received the support of my friends and family, and this is how I am surrounded by a team of teens that share the same purpose to help others. After doing this, I have seen the impact our efforts have on others that we decided it would be beneficial on the school level as a club as well. I am looking forward to working with our local students and community to achieve better mental health.
