Provide hygiene service in facilities through sanitizing and cleaning dining area, taking out trash, cleaning yurts, and handling incidents at base camp like finance and logistics.
Train and serve in salmon restoration projects using gripping equipment and grip hoists on 600 pound plus logs and drilling rebar into the logs. Utilizing rock drills, wood drills and bandsaws.
Perform trail maintenance for state parks in areas like Humboldt redwoods campgrounds (the Johnson Trail) covering over 5,000 feet with Pulaski and Pickaxe tools to build and maintain trails.
Remove invasive plants from highways and hiking with power tools.
Maintain physical readiness for Wildland Fire Operations and ongoing Conservation Service maintenance missions.
