Legal Experience/Employment Background 1997 - 2014:
I possess extensive legal experience in various arenas to include Federal Government Contract Law, Employment Law and Labor Law, General Federal Regulations and Policies, Real Estate Law, Real Estate Licensing Laws, Contracts and Lease, etc.
As a former Attorney-Advisor for the U.S. Army, and former Assistant Counsel for the Department of the Navy, I represented both the Army and the Navy in complex litigation matters working closely with clients and conducting research for the preparation of drafting several Motions and Memoranda of Law for purposes of litigation defense. In this capacity, I also served as Program Counsel conducting legal reviews and providing legal advice and analysis to personnel from varying competencies and reviewing documentation for compliance with federal statutory regulations, to include Department of Defense Policies and Directives, Federal Acquisition Regulations and Department of Army Guidance.
As a former Assistant Counsel representing the U.S. Department of the Navy, as well as in my role as Attorney Advisor for the U.S. Army, I represented both the Navy and the Army in contract and labor and employment litigation before administrative tribunals such as the Government Accountability Office and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; routinely reviewing contracts and associated documentation for purposes of ensuring compliance with federal statutory regulations, Department of Defense Policies and Directives, and Department of Navy and Army Guidance, I conducted research and regularly provided legal advice to Contracting Executives and high level military officials regarding matters including contract negotiations and contract claim resolution.
As a former Counsel for the Florida Association of Realtors, I provided legal consultation to realtors throughout the state on numerous real estate issues such as purchase contracts and lease forms, Landlord Tenant matters, compliance with real estate licensing law, contract disputes, etc.
