1985-Present PARKER HANNIFIN; Enfield, Connecticut Production Planning, Inventory Control & Purchasing Responsible for master scheduling and planning to meet customer demands; coordinating with engineering, sales and marketing personnel. Determine raw materials, equipment, and manpower requirements needed for job specifications. Establish methods and procedures; select tooling and materials; schedule and assign employees and establish routing to meet production demands. Provide hands-on management of production; perform raw material, work-in-process and finished product quality checks; troubleshoot and resolve problems; facilitate communication to address quality control issues; monitor and reconcile job cost/quotes.
Administer purchase orders; conduct vendor research, identify optimum sourcing and purchasing all materials, supplies and sub-contracted services necessary. Acquire consumables to maintain low inventory costs while meeting production requirements.
