DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Exposure to power plant operations through DCS technology including

efficient handling of emergencies in boiler & TG, Boiler and turbine (DCS &

Local).

• Pre-commissioning checking of fans,Pump, Piping and its supports,duct

supports

• Turbine Oil Flushing

• Barring Gear Rolling Of Turbine

• Turbine Rolling With Steam

• To Operate The Turbine With 60% Of Load

• To Monitoring And Control all Parameters of Turbine With 100% Load

• To Operate The Turbine 100% Load With Maximum Efficiency

• Checking of starting permissive and trip logic of Turbine and auxiliaries.

• Responsible for handling normal plant operations including start up, shut

downs and shift management.

• Responsible for handling emergency plant operations including block out,

tripping etc.

• Cold start-up and hot start up in Boiler and Turbine.

• Controls of operation and maintenance in Boiler and Turbine.

• Experience in turbine start-up and shunt-down procedure.

• Planning and scheduling the brake down maintenance job and completing the

work with stipulated time.

• ACW, CEP, AOP pump alignment & maintenance.
