I was caring for Mr. Sohel Gazi,55 years old who was admitted 5 days ago with old myocardial infarction with hypertension with type 2 diabetes mellitus .He must remain on anti hypertensive,anti diabetic and antiplatelet for the rest of his life

.However Mr.Sohel Gazi’s nurse told me that he was poor and cannot afford the drug that I prescribed .I also learned that the hospital wants me to send him home tomorrow .He was ready for discharge from medical standpoint, but I was not sure how he was going to fare on his own . On the next day I called social services for Mr. Sohel Gazi, who helped him apply to a program that covers the cost of his medications .

Volunteer Work

I worked as a member of medicine club where I withdrawn bloods from people and collected those samples and preserved them. I also worked in several free health camp where I performed blood grouping and distributed drugs to the poor and needy patients through drug bank.
