Baltimore Police Dept (retired after 23 years of service)

Records Management Supervisor - Aug 2018 to Jun 2021

I was responsible for the maintaining of all reports mandated by Sate and Federal law for the whole of the Baltimore Police Dept and surrounding agencies within the Baltimore City jurisdiction

I supervised no less than 30 Data Entry Operators that input all off the reporting data into a records management database

I comprised daily reports to the Central Data Collection point and high level commanders within the various agencies reporting to the Baltimore Police Dept

Criminal Investigation/Homicide Division - Jan 2004 to Jun 2018

Investigate homicides, kidnappings, extortions, suspicious deaths, serious assaults, and non fatal shootings, and police involved incidents resulting in serious bodily harm and death

Primary or assisted primary detective in +/- 500 murder investigations

Was responsible for maintaining, documenting, and cataloging evidence in various crime scenes authoring several hundred charging documents to be presented to the courts utilizing various databases to assist with obtaining background information related to subjects of investigation

Worked with various Jurisdictions and Federal Agents to assist in the successful capture and conclusion of investigations to include testifying under oath in Juvenile, District, Circuit, and Federal Court

Command Investigations/Drug Enforcement/Patrol Officer - Jun 2001 to June 2006

I authored reports to suggest or initiate counseling, training, and formal charges when warranted

Worked within city limits in various capacities as needed responding to various 911 emergency calls
