Description:

•Day to day operational HR services.

•Labour Management specialist in a shaft of 4700 employees,

•Lead and supervise HR administrators and Time and Attendance Administrators, coach and drive their development.

•End to end recruitment and selection: Approval to recruit, advertising and sourcing, shortlisting, MIE verifications, interviews, job specific assessments, screening (medical and security checks) offer generation and extension, sign on and on-boarding.

•Custodian and driver of the Talent and Performance Management processes: Co-ordination of performance agreements, performance appraisals, and guidance on poor performance plans. Identify training needs, maintain a pool of critical skills, drive mentorship programmes, ensure Individual Development Plans are in place, drive CDP’s and facilitate development discussions, develop and keep an updated shaft succession plans.

•Monthly reporting to CoE on mentorship and development programmes.

•Driver of transformation processes, EE and Woman in Mining compliance.

•Employment Relations: Key adviser and custodian relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

Daily absence management, facilitate dispute resolution, prevent/ alleviate work stoppages and possible strikes, corrective action implementation, grievance hearings and disciplinary hearings,

Ensure continuous coaching/ update to stakeholders on relevant legislations, policies and the company corrective action procedure.

Compile and process all types of terminations (Retirement, resignations, DIA, deceased, retrenchments/ VSP).

•Labour Management: Forecast and ensure correct resource allocation in line with procedures, administer transfers, leaves, promotions, demotions and redeployment (incapacity /poor performance/ operational requirements or own request), compliance on mandatory training and medical screening.

•Time and Attendance Management: Day to day time management administration, reports and employee movements/ access, Time Management Transactions, System Recoveries and Temporary Badges & Replacements.

•Quarterly and yearly business budget forecast: Participation in the quarterly and yearly business plan and budgeting, align the HR strategies to the plan and manage resources within the allocated budget.

•Participate in monthly Mine Manager planning reviews to ensure alignment to planned production targets within allocated budget for the month and financial year respectively.

•Design, implement and evaluate HR systems, processes and strategies to improve and provide relevant services to the business.

•Stakeholder Management & Partnering: Includes standard monthly stakeholder meetings, on-going engagements partnering with projects, services to employee, change management processes and service level agreements.
