RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

B. Tech

1. Project on “COMPARISON OF STRENGTH CHARACTERSTICS OF PLATE GIRDERS USING LSM AND WSM", Guided by Dr. Dileep Kumar P.G. Design of plate girder is carried out in the context of two leading design technique by varying the dimensions of plate girders. Microsoft excel is used for design. LSM will give conservative values compare to WSM.

M. Tech

1. Project on “REGIONAL FLOOD FREQUENCY ANALYSIS USING ENTROPY BASED CLUSTERING APPRACH”, Guided by Dr. Shibu A.

EBCA was presented for regionalization of watersheds in the context of regional flood frequency analysis, and its effectiveness is demonstrated in Karamana river basin in Kerala India. 14 river basins (21 gauging station) were taken for study. Data for this study collected Central water commission CWC, Government of India. RFFA using EBCA provided better results comparing to conventional methods.

2. Project on “REGIONAL FLOOD FREQUENCY ANALYSIS USING INDEX FLOOD METHOD BASED L-MOMENT"

Flood frequency analysis using Index flood and L-moments approach offers an attractive solution to provide flood quantile estimations at forty-four ungauged sites within the Kerala. Mat lab is used for coding purposes.
