Project : Investment & Treasury services - TLM Migration project

This project was formalized to handle the migration of TLM reconciliation application from current TLM 2.7 version to Premium 3.0. To handle the operations involving migration of TLM database (accounts, subaccounts, user profiles, currency, price, stock and other configuration tables etc.), configuration set up, reporting systems etc involved in the current 2.7 version of TLM. It involves analyzing the current application modules (Mainframe and Unix) and re-creating/reusing them on the new version to facilitate the as-is functionality of Recon processing in existing system (2.7) to be operational in Premium 3.0 version and to support the business functions as expected.

Responsibilities:

Being part of TLM 2.7 CTB team, responsible for the current state analysis of the existing Cobol programs, Jobs, TLM Database (Oracle DB) of the Transaction Lifecycle Management System in RBC.

Involved in analyzing the batch job schedules, Inbound & Outbound flows to and from the TLM application, Swift messages/files being received, formatted and loaded on to TLM Recon system.

Providing the Premium team with samples of all SWIFT/non-SWIFT files incoming to TLM system in order to help them during their Testing phase (Unit, Integration & User Acceptance testing).

Understanding the current schema of TLM and responsible for working with Recon business teams and generating Database Inventory extracts as required by the Premium team for their development.

Work with the DBA for any table refresh, data base changes (insert/update/delete).

It involves creating and developing new Mainframe applications to facilitate the requests, modifying applications, related reports in existing Anthem system to be operational as per the modified processes/mandates to support the business.
