Our project is “GPS based speed control in accident prone zones”. In this project we are going to prepare a kit and it should be placed in a car. When the car enters an accident zone the driver gets a warning alarm and a red led signal. The output from the microcontroller is given to the speed governor and the speed is controlled. Our aim is to reduce the fatal accidents. The main reason for accidents is over speed. So that we are controlling the speed of vehicle which in turns reduce the fatalities.
