I worked as a maintenance director at Brenwood for a year implementing a maintenance program throughout four of Brenwood’s facilities in Southern Wisconsin. I worked directly with the staff as well as the residents living at each location. Collects and reviews maintenance requisitions from all units and departments of facility
Reviews information, establishes priorities, assigns staff or inspects, replaces, repairs or otherwise resolves problems
Implements the approved preventative maintenance program throughout physical plant and for all equipment per the schedule
Maintains all essential equipment (e.g., boiler room equipment, nursing unit/medication room refrigerators, kitchen refrigerator/freezer, laundry equipment) in safe operating condition
Inspects, tests and maintains resident call system to ensure a functioning communication system from rooms, toilets and bathing facilities
Cooperates with other departments to identify and accommodate individual resident needs and preferences
