Engaged in outside workshops to enhance knowledge to teach all styles of writing. Organized school newspaper, the Bulldog Ink and taught students all facets of how to use software to dispense a quality school newspaper, including writing and editing skills.

Students taught to pass state proficiency tests, Department of Labor competency
exams, and Ged writing tests. Their instruction included interviewing and editing skills.
Earned Teacher of the Year in 2006.
