●Utilize keen understanding of business forecasting, production planning, procurement, and scheduling practices to lead sourcing, negotiations, and procurement of all raw materials to support the production plan.
●Provide both short term and long term forecast to our suppliers based on customer forecasts and historical pulls and prepare daily/weekly schedules based on customer-provided forecasts and daily open order report, while stablishing minimum/maximum stocking level requirements and ensuring those requirements are met.
●Responsible for accurately forecasting customer needs and coordinating material purchasing with Buyer to ensure customer orders is met.
●Analyze manufacturing variance reports daily to determine reporting problems, data entry errors, or the need to evaluate BOM structures as well as make MRP recommendations, issue manufacturing orders as needed, track open orders to ensure customer needs are being met satisfactorily.
