As Senior Vice President, East Region at Merchants Metals Trained and focuses Managers, CSR’s and outside sales reps to sell PVC fence growing it from $5M to

$30M. Targeted major contractors in each market working hand in hand with them to grow their PVC business by investing into fabrication, infrastructure and sales to provide high levels of service to meet the demands of the contractor base by over service which effectively beat the competition. Built partnership with vendor to help dominate the Florida market.

As Vice President, Sales Generation at HD Supply Utilities Distribution business servicing power generation utilities was failing badly servicing the customer. We immediately identified customer issues by going to each power plant and evaluating their needs and issues. We sat with all key decision makers in supply chain, purchasing and plants and, through those discussions, reacted by putting in place new processes and retraining people resulting in high levels of sustained customer satisfaction. Formulated communication plans with key customer personnel to monitor performance and keep service levels high. End result: in 18 months, became the number one strategic supplier for this customer in performance. Customer committed to doubling sales from $5M to $10M. This accomplishment was through our ability to partner and to create new innovative ways to lower their costs and improve service.

As Vice President, Operations at HD Supply Utilities Integrated five separate acquisitions into HDS Utilities as business grew from $300M to $1.4B. We utilized state-of-the-art change management techniques to successfully integrate each business. We established key leadership roles, communication channels, mentoring and training programs to help employees assimilate into the company. Merchants Metals is one of the 3 largest manufacturer and distributor of fence in the U.S. Its customer base is wholesalers and contractors and has an exclusive contract with Lowes selling chain link in its store network. SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT EAST REGION

Direct P&L responsibility for $150M in sales which represented half of company sales.

Responsible for all aspects of sales/operations of 17 service centers and outside sales force.

Utilized 80/20 principle to focus on major customers building processes and focus to drive high sales.

Have seen 9% YOY growth while consolidating 3 facilities to serve customer base more effectively.

Upgraded the Service Manager team by combination of internal and external talent.
