Achieved revenues of ZAR2.5 billion, and market segment leading profits in a highly competitive market in difficult economic conditions.
Developed a coherent, efficient operating model for the business, working across 4 countries, and designing robust systems and process infrastructure for the South African operations.
Grew the number of cleaning contracts from that which resulted in 32000 people to 40000 people being employed over the last three years.

Responsible for the overall operational management and financial performance of 17 hotels with 1710 rooms across South Africa, Botswana and Malawi driving Group International and National Sales Strategy and the day to day operations of this sales force.
Responsible for Group Central Reservations, Group Food and Beverage and Group Conferences and Conventions Divisions and their operational and financial performance.
Achieved revenues of ZAR800 million annually with departmental profits of 78% for the hotels, 25% for food and beverage and 45% in the convention center, excluding complimentary revenues.
Secured new business opportunities with regards to Greenfield projects; refurbishment of all hotels and F&B facilities in the group, procurement of new management contracts, lease project opportunities and to review all return on investment proposals with regards to Food and Beverage facilities, Hotels, Conference Centers and Entertainment solutions.
Grew revenues at the Emperors Palace Convention Centre from ZAR10 Million to ZAR200 Million annually.

Directly responsible for the transformation, restructure and management of this division which consists of 4 hotels (five star, four and two three star), 300 seated convention center, a complex food and beverage division with 10 outlets, a nightclub, a retail emporium, operation support services and complex maintenance.
Project Management initiatives including refurbishments, restructuring of departments, introduction of new concepts and ensuring consistent adherence to best practice policies.
Achieved revenues of ZAR300 million with departmental profits of 78% for the hotels, 30% for food and beverage and 50% in the convention center.
Managed a capital expenditure budget for the resort of ZAR60 million annually and a cost centre budget of ZAR20 million annually for the day to day maintenance of the complex.

Overall responsibility for the day to day operation of the non-gaming division of the complex; daily management of the two hotels; large convention center; complex food and beverage operations; a nightclub and the cleaning operations of the complex.
