Facilities Manager: Responsibilities included project managing (RFP’s) Tenant improvement and build out of new corporate office and PON Labs (95,000 sq ft) and relocation. Duties also included the design, development, and administration of Safety and Security, Budgets, and lease negotiations of off site sales and ASIC offices (Petaluma, CA). Responsible for administering and maintaining all maintenance contracts and contractors, furniture purchases, and new hire office assignments. Initiated Safety Team and conducted safety audits of all facilities. Maintained all the IT Data Storage room and support equipment.

Dolby Laboratories, San Francisco, California 5/98 – 6/99

Corporate Facilities Manager: Responsibilities include the administration and developing of operational departmental budgets, and corporate maintenance functions. Instrumental in project planning of “Tenant Improvements” to “S.F. Annex” multi story high rise and necessary move of all Engineering, and Product Licensing department. Duties also include the management of the IIPP program, Safety Committee and Security, Office Services, Shipping and Receiving, mailroom, Receptionist, and Management of the Brisbane CA, manufacturing operational maintenance. Managed and maintained all Data Center Support Equipment.

Concept Systems Design Inc., Fremont, California 7/94 - 5/98

Facilities Manager: Duties included the design build of CDA system for manufacturing floor, install of security system, and the implementation of safety programs, i.e. Safety Committee, “MSDS”, ADA, and safety polices and ERT. Responsibility include the cost accounting and management of the phone system new equipment installs and construction; Relocation of company, with completion of $ 350,000.00 “Tenant Improvements”. Also accountable for budgeting and design build of $1,600,000.00 class 10 clean room for Demo Lab and R&D facilities, also re-design, and conversion to class 10,000 of MFG assembly clean room. Evaluated and initiated, (CAFM), to increase productivity and reduce operational cost of department.

Octel Communication, Milpitas, California 10/89 - 7/94

Facilities Operation Manager: Accountable for developing, implementing, and documenting computerized preventative maintenance programs (CPMP) for a six-building campus

(430,000 sq. ft), EMS programs and in-house agendas to reduce operational costs. Established the computerized work order system to analyze continual process improvement and productivity; guided and sustained, a mechanical and construction approach to facilities maintenance at a practical level by a combination of in-house personnel and contractors. Initiated ERT, “Business Recovery Plan”, Safety programs, for MFG and office environments. Interfaced with local, State, and Federal agencies in the shipment of hazardous waste and compliance to laws governing "ADA", "SB198", and Cal OSHA. Facilities Manager: Responsible for operational maintenance of facilities and in-house janitorial staff, which included 47 employees, 1 supervisor, and three buildings consisting of 280,000 square feet. Responsibilities included interfacing with outside contractors, bid pricing, job acceptance, and contract projects; development of documentation and control procedures for scheduling, budging and completing all facilities/janitorial activities; planning and implementation of annual power shutdowns included working with outside contractors and PG&E; preventative maintenance support equipment, HVAC installs, and electrical. Facilities Supervisor: Responsible for operational maintenance of 87,000 sq. ft facilities including preventative maintenance of support equipment; development of documentation and control procedures for scheduling, budgeting and completing all facilities maintenance activities; coordinate placement of new equipment and responsible for all HVAC up-grades and installations.
