Summary

I'm very experienced in the workforce and management; also extensive coursework to augment the experience. I have safety experience in many different types of environments like Power Plants, Oil refinery, chemical Plants and Manufacturing, and Data centers.

Experience

CBRE, Site Safety Lead(Owners Rep), MNK Data Center, Moncks Corner SC, April 2018 to present.

• Work closely with the GC to investigate incidents,and complete a Root Cause Analysis

• Used Data from daily observations from both Client and GC safety programs to identify leading and lagging indicators.

• Provide general counsel to the Client, GC and trades management on matters related to employee adherence to site safety rules.

• Provide guidance to management in the handling of safety infractions, discipline and the path forward.

• Attend and participate in the Production supervisor’s turnover meetings twice a day to assist with or facilitate safety talks.

• Coordinate first aid treatment to plant and office employees. Assist and support the activities of the First Responder Program.

• Maintain contact with injured employees and expedite return to work.

• Follow all divisional and corporate procedures for reporting, investigating and notification of injuries.

• Provide Safety training for new hires (hourly, Salary and onsite vendors), Safety orientation for visitors, and Safety refresher training for veteran employees returning from an absence of 90 days or more within the manufacturing facility.

• Work closely with management team to ensure safety training format is followed during

• Complete monthly safety compliance report for each manufacturing facility. Responsible for the completion of all weekly and monthly safety audits. To include but not limited to fire, extinguishers, eye wash stations, etc.

• Provide general counsel to employees and management on matters related to employee adherence to plant safety rules.

• Provide guidance to management in the handling of complaints and discipline that are

safety related and consult with Human Resources and Divisional Safety.

Prepare and communicate all training material to management and employees

• Provide information as needed for record keeping associated with OSHA and Marathon SMS (safety management system) – assist with audits of SMS and Salcon third party audits.

• Act as liaison with safety associations.

• Safety Committee: Assist with or facilitate all aspects of monthly Safety Committee Meeting including the PowerPoint presentation, training, initiatives and any other related activities. Organize and communicate all key points that are derived from each meeting to the plant employees.

• Responsible for programs – Update and review: JHA (Job Hazard Analysis), SOAR (Safety Observation and Recognition), HRAC (Hazard Recognition and Control), and SDS (Safety Data Sheets).

• Data entry and maintenance of: Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO), Safety Suggestions,

electronic files, safety contests and games files, etc.

• Risk Assessment Management System (RAMS) – Update and enter safety information for injuries, workers comp and audits.

• Compliance – Update and Review: Electrical qualifications list, welding qualifications

list, lanyard/harness inspections, Genie Boom inspections, ladder inspections, new and existing equipment safety checklist, confined space.

• Act as the Support Emergency Coordinator in bomb threat, disease issue or outbreaks

and weather emergencies and work closely with the onsite management team.

• Act as DOT coordinator backup for sites of responsibility.

• Other safety related tasks: update and revise safety specific spreadsheets, head and follow up on initiatives related to safety such as machine guarding and LOTO pictures, participate in monthly conference calls, establish and help maintain a user friendly hard copy filing system, and maintain and update bulletin boards.

• Maintain air permit, required inspections, audits, monitoring and applications for renewal or modifications for local air permit.
