Education

I have completed high school and earned my diploma. After high school I continued my

education at High Point University in North Carolina. My major was psychology and

through these courses I was able to better learn about the brain and how it affects all

age groups. I learned about child development, mental health treatments, and how to

recognize someone's personality and different needs each person may need to live a

happy and successful life.

Professional Development

May 2022 to present

Jen Catella 1-802-***-****

Hand in Hand Child Care Center in Essex Junction, Vermont. I worked as a floater,

being able to be with all different ages throughout the day, which strengthened my skills

in child care. I took two different learning courses for this job and learned the right way

to take care of while also teaching young children.

Customer service, ran food, made food and milkshakes, took orders with friendly and

positive attitude

Babysitting I had family and family friends that I babysat for up to 5 hours, twice a

week. The ages were as young as 1 and as old as 8 years old. I was able to practice

being a good role model while also providing and learning the works of children and

how they can be similar and different while growing up.

Volunteer Work

Volunteered to co-coach the younger cheer teams at Fairfax. I worked with first

graders all the way up to 6th graders. I was a student coach and helped them learn their

routine while also being a role model and adult figure for them to rely on when needing

help inside and outside of cheerleading. I was voted MVP of my varsity cheer team two

years in a row.

Memberships

National Honor Society (NHS). I helped the community by organizing events such as

blood drives, flu shot drives, food shelter fundraisers. I was also able to be a part of a

national leadership conference which taught me how to stand strong and be looked at

as a leader. I grew personally from this experience and what I learned goes into my

everyday thinking.

Sigma Sigma Sigma National affiliated sorority at High Point university. I joined the

sorority my freshmen year and will continue with their values

Personal profile

I am a dependable and driven individual with goals and passions. I stay working with an

open mind and work well with others. I love music and movie nights with friends and

family. I also love traveling and seeing new and exciting environments. I find myself to

be very independent but also cooperative. This means I can self advocate and not be

afraid to make mistakes to learn.
