MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Founded a non-profit community-based organization, which has grown from 6 to over 150 personnel and a $204,000 annual budget. As the Senior Executive I have initiated and implemented goal planning and strategies, which facilitated the development of seventeen departments, which includes paid staff and volunteers. I have trained personnel for key department head positions. In addition to this budget, I have organized annual fundraisers that raised an additional $12,00000 to $15,000 annually, which is donated to local students for college scholarships, and community and foreign needs.

Founded a small business coffee shop generating a profit of $75,000 annually. Was recognized and awarded the Best of Prince William County by the News and Messenger.

Founded the Freedom Early Child Learning Center (FECLC). A small daycare center who cares for up to twenty children and four staff personnel five days a week.

Served as the Marine Corps Representative to the Armed Forces Inaugural Committee in support of the 1997 Presidential Inauguration. Managed staffing requirements from Marine Corps unit across the United States. My ability to communicate effectively required me to be the primary spokesman to the Commandant of the Marine Corps and Senior Executive Staff on the staffing requirements, and logistics and readiness for Marine Corps participation for the Presidential Inauguration.

Developed and managed an administrative system tracking of over 7,000 travel orders and settlements, exceeding 1.5 million dollars annually for 740 personnel who travel inside and outside the United States in support of the President of the United States, Marine Helicopter Squadron. My managerial skills and ability to instruct and implement procedures increased the efficiency and productivity of our services, which resulted in less than 1% margin of error at year-end audits which exceeded the 8% average.

Developed, initiated, and monitored an Equal Opportunity Program, which was instrumental in a time of crisis for over 30,000 personnel serving in the military. I taught and trained over thirty Commanders from Colonel to 3-Star Generals. This not only created an environment that allowed service members to do their jobs effectively, but also saved countless dollars in man-hours. Received advance career opportunities because of the success of this program.

Designed the Consolidated Administration-Processing Center supporting 25,000+ Marines transitioning from civilian to active duty in support of the Gulf War. Managed a budget of over 2.5 million dollars. Was awarded a medal for these accomplishments. This center has been the standard to date for combat readiness.
