The Radys Children’s Satellite NICU at Rancho Springs Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is staffed by a specialized team of Neonatologists, Respiratory therapists, nutritionists, pharmacists, and social workers who attend to each baby. The Family Birth Center is the largest facility of its kind in the region and features spacious private labor and delivery suites. The Center also has a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to care for babies who were born prematurely or who have unusual medical conditions during their first days of life. I attend deliveries in an L&D room and attend O.R. delivery (C-Section), perform neo-resuscitation, PPV, CPAP according to NRP guidelines, assist with Intubations, Performs draw and analysis of Cord Arterial and Cord Venous Blood Gas samples. I am responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy modalities and respiratory assessments including RT Skin assessment to our neonatal patients in the NICU or Labor & Delivery. We perform surfactant administration therapy, Oxygen therapy, Heated High Flow Oxygen, Pulse Ox, Transcutaneous & End Tidal CO2, Artificial Airway, Mechanical Ventilation and Non-Invasive Ventilation. Performs responsibilities independently and without supervision. I also work in the Adult ICU taking care of Covid Patients and ER.

Manage department staff, communicate job expectations, and ensure respiratory therapy services are provided in accordance to standards. Oversaw and worked alongside subordinate therapists in various capacities throughout the Adult, Peds and NICU populations.
