Administered the safety program and serve as a safety advisor for construction operations. Enforce safety compliance by the project team, all employees, and subcontractors on site. Design-Bid-Build upgrades for electrical and mechanical renovations to Power Plant II and Power Plant III. Work included electrical and mechanical renovations to both facilities; an overflow fuel tank at PP II, and a fuel line connecting both power plants. Scope also included fencing installations and repairs, install of aboveground fuel storage overflow tank at PP II; and a duplex pumping system at PP III.

Project Safety Manager – USACE Buildings 66 and 30 Renovation Project. URS Corporation, Cairo, Egypt, June 2014 to May 2015, $10M. Managed the overall safety of NAMRU-3 installation construction project. Enforced the direct implementation of the project safety program and accident prevention plan. Design-Bid-Build renovations to restore building systems for the US Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED), at the Navy Medical Research Unit Number Three (NAMRU-3) facility. Building conversion involved extensive selective demolition and reconstruction of the building frontages, finishes, mechanical, electrical, and structural systems in order to meet the requirements of the Department of State (DoS) criteria for special construction (12- FAH-5). In addition, due to the extent of renovations required, the entire building was upgraded to comply with current building codes and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) for life safety, accessibility, Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP), seismic resistance and progressive collapse avoidance.

$16.4M. Supervised the H&S of field activities for the project. Achieved 99.9% safety during chemical neutralization and recycling operations and hazmat destruction yard operations.
