Experience includes the model changeover for the two-door (BR) and half door (BE) for the Dodge Ram at the Chrysler St. Louis Assembly Plant. Responsibilities included creating concept layouts per vendor’s equipment requirements in Body Shop and General Assembly, perform field observations and measurements, design of conveyor paths, perform calculations, conduct vertical curve studies through the software package Engineer Mate and perform clearance studies for BIW transfers: i.e. lift stations, P&F conveyor systems which were completed on AutoCAD.

Performed BIW robotic work envelope studies for part reach and clash detection.

Design and engineer of overhead structural steel, bridge rail and lift assist.

The development of overhead cable tray routing from BIW robotic cell footprint to PLC panel. Some cases, floor cable routing was applied (Dog Housing) All routings were configured to use less cable and aluminum tray for cost savings to the customer.

Revised overall plant layouts per revised conditions (As-Installed). Managed and controlled all CAD files according to Chrysler standards and procedures. Processed bulletins and field orders according to project demands. Maintained a list of Tooling vendors and their responsibilities per Chrysler specifications and followed up for updates and verification of completions of each of the vendor items per Chrysler specifications in a timely manner. Managed meetings with plant personnel and their supporting contractors to coordinate and organize the efforts of the project. Responsible for the field direction and follow-up of plant and contractor installation of tools and conveyor rework.

Experience includes modification for Chrysler Sterling Heights Assembly Plant 1995 “JA” Model Program Paint Shop Conveyor. Responsibilities include field observations, measurements, copying drawings from plant files as necessary, revise drawings, sketches, and calculations for new or revised conditions, attend meetings with plant personnel, and their supporting contractors as required, and modify CAD files on AutoCAD V.11 and 12 when necessary.

Experience with plant automated / manual tooling and conveyor layout, modification in Body Shop for Dodge Dakota and layout design of tooling fixtures on CAD software, AutoCAD release 11 for Chrysler Toledo (Jeep Parkway).
