Barista at Hub Coffee 2021-present
Creating a high-quality experience for customers while happily answering their coffee questions and demonstrating how I make their drinks. Learning and investing time into being a better barista, acquiring new skills in the process. Bringing new creative ideas to the team. Taking initiative in many instances and being reliable when staff is low as well as training new baristas.
Clothing Reseller/Small Business Owner: present
I resell clothing, shoes, and accessories I source from thrift stores. I search for items that will make a big profit margin. Guaranteeing the products, I’m selling are in great condition and providing accurate descriptions of them as well as great customer service and communication.
Summer 2020: I made and sold polymer clay earrings. I sold several batches of my handmade earrings to a local business.
Receptionist full time: Family First Chiropractic Clinic 2022
Scheduling a treatment plan for patients. Investigating denied claims, calling insurance companies, and navigating insurance websites. Preforming stim therapy on patients as well as helping them on and off therapy tables. Maintaining order within data entry, filing patient records, and light cleaning.
Photographer/Videographer: 2020-2021
Working 12+ hour days under high pressure, while being personable and accommodating. Lots of movement and creative precision and thought going into each shot. Sorting through and editing the content in a timely manner, while also catering to the style of the newlyweds.
Full time: Inventory Manager/ Barista at Top Hat Coffee 2020-2021
Managing multiple sources of inventory every day; from coffee roasters, bulk food orders, milk products, to-go products and picking up more frequently needed items 3 days a week. Putting away inventory and organizing pantry, freezer, and cooler spaces. Making improvement to do inventory faster as well as more effectively.
Nanny/ Childcare: 2019
I took care of a two-year-old for up to 30 hours a week. Ran errands, cooked, and cleaned around the house. I took her to different fun activities throughout the day to keep her engaged and learning, while also having fun.
Barista at The Vine Coffee House: 2019
Take orders, run cash register, clean, prepare drinks and food. Working with and serving a diverse group of people. Showing great customer service and always smiling.
Volunteer Experience
The Ottumwa Legacy Youth Alliance / Member
Helped identify issues for youth in South East Iowa, suggested solutions for problems and worked toward solving problems. Helped screen, interview and select grant applicants. Served as a spokesperson. Became familiar with many local businesses, as well as met many different leaders in the area.
