Hollis Eversley, BSc (Eng), R.Eng, FAPETT is a graduate of the University of the West Indies; qualifying in Civil Engineering (UWI-1983 - Environmental Engineering). I have over 35 years of experience in Construction Management and Project Management in projects of up to US$ 600 Million. My personal professional goal is to raise the standards of Engineering Management of Local Engineers and Local Engineering Companies and to raise awareness of the local society of the indispensability of Engineers to the development of the Country and to Civilization as a whole. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS:
With regards to the Local Trinidad and Tobago construction industry I have been directly responsible for
The successful completion of designs of concrete and asphalt mixes
The establishment and management of quarry operations for the production of crushed and washed aggregates
The set up and management of Asphalt Plants and Concrete Plants inclusive of stockpile areas and supporting utility infrastructure.
The successful completion of large volume concrete pours up to 3000m3 for major structures inclusive of: Bridges and Culverts, Retaining walls, Concrete Pavements, Water Tanks, LNG Tanks, Wharfs, jetties.
The successful placement of over 20,000 Tonnes of Asphalt pavement to required quality inclusive of pavement fill, sub-base and base course and sealed-aggregate surfaces.
The successful placement of over 10 Kilometres of Sewer mains, Potable water mains, underground power and telecommunication infrastructure.
The successful completion of the Design and Construction of over 13 Police stations, 3 Fire Stations, three (3) Multi-Unit Residential Housing Developments inclusive of the road and utility development.
The Establishment of Policies and procedures for my client Organizations
The finalization and implementation of the Organizational Restructuring; including o The restructuring of the Maintenance Department of the Public Works Department of Montserrat (W.I).
o Total revamp of the Management and Control procedures and processes of several agencies for the support of their projects.
