Role: SAP UAT Test Manager for Coty / Wella Divesture (North America, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico)

Brought onboard 3 days prior to the start of UAT Test execution for a very large Global Lift & Shift SAP divesture with some exceptions (new applications). Primary objective was to pick up from where prior Test manager left off and ensure UAT Test Execution was completed on time. Managed a team of over 40 users, approximately 30 applications (SAP / non SAP) and ensure approximately 3000 Tests were executed or descoped with proper reasoning for audit purposes. Scheduling, Test Planning / Preparation, Test Data, Defect Management and Test Management tools / processes all established prior to onboarding, however, had to be flexible and change course at a moments notice / make some improvements where necessary:

Successfully delivered UAT with limited number of issues detected during Hypercare

Role: SAP Integration Test Manager - SAP W&D, TMS, O2C and EDI Integration Test Manager (US/CA/PR and China) – GSK / Pfizer Merger -- Consumer Healthcare Joint Venture.

Major complex initiative under aggressive deadlines – Moving from Pfizer 3PL platform to GSK platform whilst moving off of GSK 3PL W&D application (Red Prairie) and retaining 4 new 3PL applications (Red Prairie, JDA, proprietary). Significant changes to 3PL Systems and minor changes to existing ERP interfaces to accommodate GSK processes, including ASN 856 Flat files, Data Power ASN Mapping processes. O2C Purchasing & Invoicing changes needed to accommodate new Pfizer customers. All aspects of Testing are maintained ALM.

Responsible for setting up the Testing framework needed to support this huge initiative across all geographic sites. Wave 13: Life Sciences – Consumer Healthcare (PA-US): On boarded to quickly to implement and improve upon an existing test strategy for a team that was behind schedule, in an effort to be prepared for the test execution of a major SAP Integration initiative that was to commence five weeks subsequent to my starting, in addition to planning and managing both test cycles, training a geographically distributed team across countries, generating testing deliverables, creating and presenting status reports, devising /manage test schedules, coordinating resources across five countries (US, Puerto Rico, Canada, U.K. and Germany, managing the Defect process and escalating issues and risks accordingly.

Responsible for the Test Planning and Execution of approximately 80 interfaces impacting approximately 20 functional areas and many 3rd party systems.

Managed the Testing of 16 Functional Workstreams and 10 Stream Leads

Achieved 100% readiness and successful test execution for the Partner Dry Run initiative with the ability to track at a very granular level, the testing of each interface throughout the various hops in the end to end workflow.

Generated a new Status report that provides at a glance, the progress throughout the test execution which includes test execution metrics, planned vs. actual, schedule deviations, defect tracking and progress over prior days’ activity. This is now used by senior leadership team.

In minimal time, achieved the creation of a test schedule that was very overdue, high in demand which was then utilized to bridge a huge gap and line up the appropriate support resources globally

Trained team and conducted kick off meeting on all aspects of the testing process prior to the test execution phase, that included mandates by the Quality Risk and Compliance group

Traveled to Pittsburgh Office during initial stages of warranty period to assist with Ticket resolution during Early Life Support. Enhanced the tracking of ICE Tickets (Integration and Connecting ERP) by implementing a collaborative SharePoint solution to track and manage ticket updates using a real time solution.

Traveled to RTP North Carolina with senior management to conduct knowledge transfer and lessons learned workshops for US Pharma group prior to the commencement of their USPG SAP Rollout

Wave 15: GMS Tech – Nyon: On boarded based on prior successful SAP Integration Test effort to manage SAP Integration Testing for new warehouses acquired through Novartis (CERPS and M-ERP Integration). Initiative was very successful and Business very pleased.

Role: LES Functional / Integration Test Manager (Laboratory Execution System)

Managing Functional Testing - Brought on board to rescue and bring home a mid-flight Testing Project that was very behind schedule. Turned it around, delivered on time, whilst finding and correcting major gaps in Business Requirements and Test Coverage. Moved on to a second Testing project within the same Program and implemented a Testing framework that enabled us to deliver on time with proper Testing Coverage that resulted in zero defects in Production post go live.

Role: Template Development Project Manager – Was assigned the Template Development / Testing space to investigate and troubleshoot the root cause of delivery delays – over promise under deliver. Identified root cause issues in the Development Strategy, Testing Strategy, processes, budget and made recommendations. Identified 700k GBP overspend. Also performed a feasibility study for automation.

Enterprise wide IE11 Rollout

Brought on board to manage the testing of the enterprise wide IE11 upgrade that encompassed approximately 450 web based applications, multiple test teams worldwide including a dedicated offshore QA team of 11 team members and approximately 80 Business Testers, defining key testing and defect management processes, while simultaneously designing and implementing a centralized collaborative SharePoint site to manage all communications and testing artifacts and piloting new automation project using Cucumber that would eventually be utilized as part of Continuous Integration. Testing was completed successfully and process / tools were reusable and leveraged in other initiatives such as Windows 10 upgrade and a division spinoff.

Deployment Validation– Spin Off Company

Worked closely with the Deployment Project Manager to devise a deployment Test Strategy, Validation Schedule, Issue tracking process and Tests to be performed by the Business across 34 geographical locations in an effort to ensure business operations (applications, telecom equipment, etc.) were not interrupted subsequent to the various stages of the Network Separation work, application modifications and temporary service agreements. Set up a centralized repository to manage all the deployment validation artifacts and issues.

Role: Test Automation & TDM Test Manager

Brought in to troubleshoot, stabilize, and organize the workload for an enterprise wide QA Automation Team that was not meeting targeted objectives. The team was responsible for the automation of Functional and End to End Tests in addition to the automated creation of baseline test data used to support both the Manual and Automated Test efforts. The scope of the automation included one Uber program comprised of 11 programs each containing one or more projects.

Background: Functional Automation Model (38 resources) - Implemented using Keyword approach across a geographically distributed team. Scripts are created /updated offshore then validated onshore, where they are executed, reviewed and either merged in the master Automation Regression Suite or rejected and sent back to the Offshore Team for correction. Automated Test Data Creation Model (4 Resources): Data Requirements are documented and reviewed by Automation Team. Test Data is created using scripts that access an XML Harness where data is then sent to service layer for validation. Upon completion, some of the key data attributes are written to an Excel spreadsheet and forwarded back to the test teams to track allocation.

Responsibilities include:
