ACADEMIC PROJECTS:

● DIGITAL SPEEDOMETER WITH MILEGE INDICATOR

● A THERMAL HAND VEIN PATTERN VERIFICATION SYSTEM

DESCRIPTION:

(i) In this project we implemented mainly a mileage indicating system with some additional parameters like speed, odo and fuel level indicator for luxury vehicles using micro controller 89C51.

Opto intruder is used as speed sensor .it transmits the IR rays to the transmitter between the rotating wheels to produce the continuous pulse signal which is counted by micro controller counter.

Potentiometer principle with float and arm method is used as fuel sensor. Empty detector with some milli liter capacity is used to calculate the mileage with particular distance traveled using that particular level fuel. Language implementation: C++

(ii) In thermal hand vein verification system personal security using the new technology of back of the vein is proposed. A thermal camera is used to take the pictures of vein and that is checked with the images in the database and use to verify the correct one for proof. Application: It can be used for the ATM instead of pin numbers to avoid forgery and robbery.
