Experience

I worked at Head Start for 14 years (7yrs as a Teacher and 7yrs as a Center Supervisor/Family Advocate.

Center Supervisor/FSW-(March 2012 to 2020) Community Action Agency of Talladega Munford Alabama Head Start. My duties as a Center Director/FSW

1.Kept children and staff files up to date according Alabama State Policies.

2.Enter Attendances and USDA daily in Child plus.

3. Host monthly Parent meetings.

4.Assist parents with Family Goals.

5.Created Partnerships with local community businesses

Teacher-Munford Head start-( August 2007-March 2012) I Taught children 3-5 years of age. Prepared and implemented thematic lesson plan units, objectives for the children. I created a learning environment for children so they can be creative while learning through play. I also implemented active supervision, so all children would be safe while in my care.

Day care Owner-Almon’s Tiny Tots Learning Center-I open my own part day(8am-12pm) Due to Covid-19 business is slow and I need something full time.
