PROFILE
Mr.Alamirew Zerihun has over 20 years of extensive experience in commercial banking. Mr. Alamirew is currently working for Commercial Bank of Ethiopia as Assistant Director - Arada District. Prior to this, he served as Manager Internal Control at North Addis District Office and before joining this position he was Senior Banking Business Control Officer in the Banking Operation Control Team at the Centre. Before coming to this position he served as Risk Expert at the Risk and Compliance Office at the centre. Mr. Alamirew has also served as Change Management Officer and Loan Recovery Officer at the centre in the same bank. Mr.Alamirew also worked as Manager Residential Housing and Investment Machinery with Commercial Bank of Ethiopia; under which he has successful facilitated housing registration in 2005 E.c., participated as a supervisor in lot drawing software for 40/60 housing team, supervised and participated in the housing data base correction of the bank. Before coming to this position he has worked as senior credit analyst, credit appraisal expert, credit officer and loan officer in the bank for more than ten years. Mr. Alamirew holds Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from International Leadership Institute, Ethiopia, and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from Bahir Dar University and Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
