• High volume collection experience, skin puncture, nasal and throat specimen collection utilizing proper technique to maintain specimen integrity. Utilization of systems for identification, collection, transport and disposal of specimens, adhering to internal and external guidelines and policies. Recognizes and evaluates the presence of complications in collecting blood and selects appropriate solutions for them, IE: patients on anticoagulants, radial mastectomy, syncope, difficult veins, IV's etc. Then collects quality specimens utilizing appropriate collection techniques.
