ACTIVITIES and INTERESTS
My family enjoys rodeos; and makes annual trips to Wyoming.
I enjoy doing research on my ancestry. I learned about my grandfathers and how they served in WWI, how uncles served in WWII and my dad in the Korean War. My grandfather experienced chemical exposure in WWI, suffered from the loss of his legs and died in a Veterans hospital years later.
I enjoy researching historical military events. I have walked many battlefields to learn what happened and any mistakes that were made, such as the Little Big Horn with Custards last stand, Vicksburg civil war field, Gettysburg Battlefield as well as others in that time frame. I have also walked the battlefields of the American Revolution, Indian wars and others. I have walked the battlefield at the Battle of the Bulge in Europe; have been to German castles and toured the Eifel Tower in France.
