EXPERIENCE
Project Manager Plan International Egypt European Union Fund
NOVEMER 2016 – PRESENT
Reporting to the Head of Program Implementation (HOPI) and is responsible for overall management and leadership of the Children and Youth Socio-Economic Development Fund Project in Qena and Sohag including sub-grant related processes and partner capacity-building as well as management of project staff.
Children and Youth Socio-Economic Development Fund Project Manager will be responsible for overall management and leadership of the Children and Youth Socio-Economic Development Fund Project in Qena and Sohag including overall management of project’s activities of sub-recipients, coordinating all program-focused strategic planning and decision making, and managing key project personnel. The Project Manager will serve as key liaison with the donor and technical issues, and other key stakeholders involved with the project.
The Project Manager will ensure that the projects’ objectives are met in accordance with the donor requirements – adhere to strict timelines, ensure the production of quality & timely reports, ensure that the project outcomes are sustained and continually drive innovation and improvement within the project, working with all key stakeholders.
Also and in close relation with Head of Program Implementation (HOPI), she / he will lead Plan Program in Qena governorate and ensure alignment with the approved logical frameworks and program quality standards.
Operations Coordinator (Plan International Egypt-Qena Office) Multi Funds

Reports to the Children and Youth Socio-Economic Development Fund Project Manager / Qena Program Unit Manager (PUM) is responsible for overall operation and administrative process at Qena office / PU
Participate in CSOs assessment.
Prepare TOR for consultants, advisors, vendors…etc.
Create Projects' Budgets,vendors, POs, PRFs, GRs….etc. on SAP system
Prepare forums, trainings, seminars, international days, conferences, launching events, shows….etc.
Assist in preparing projects' presentations.
Consider and meet donors' requirements in visibility ADV, banners, brochures…etc.
Receive CSO concept papers and organize their full data .
Formal Communications with Qena governorate, MOSS, DE,DH, private sector, Media…..etc
Follow up M&E data entry.
Follow up CSOs inventory register.
Translating projects proposals, reports….etc.
Assist in writing success stories .
Prepare PU monthly and annual financial closure.
Coordinate the development and monitor the implementation of the admin budget of the PU in line with the approved annual plan.

Work together with Assuit PA-admin coordinator in conducting administration services for the Program Area/ Unit such as third party liability, insurances and fixed assets control.

Women Democracy Network
Responsible for WDN (Women Democracy Network) activities to increase Women's political participation, leadership and representation in elected office.
Determine the needs of women in Upper Egypt to design and implement programming and address the issues and concerns of Network members.
Encouraging women to form Upper Egypt chapter to target the barriers which restrict women's empowerment.
Civic Education Component
Responsible for civic education component and its mobile trainers in Upper Egypt governorates (Qena-Sohag-Aswan-Red Sea-Luxor) consisted of four trainers who were responsible for conducting "Civic Education Trainings".
Assist in conducing "Election Campaign Management" workshops all over Upper Egypt governorates.
Developing training strategies and models.
Building relationships with Egyptian partners including political parties, movements, and NGOs.
Handling technical and administrative tasks necessary.
Coordinating schedules, and followed up meeting to measure the impact of the trainings.
Negotiating the best contract price with local service providers.
Offering orientation sessions for trainer.
Interacting with a wide variety of leaders and officials in different governorates in Egypt, including governmental officials, party leaders and members, NGO leaders and members.
Assisting the Resident Country Program Officer in all areas of Program management including facilitating local and national relationship.
Presenting weekly and monthly reports of work process to the RCPO.
Preparing activities' budget to be approved by the RCPO.
Conducing field visits to the NGOs to follow up trainers.
Conducting field visits to follow up elections process.
Conducting trainings with political parties and civil society organizations, report writing, office management.
