Employment History:
PixelBox Annotation Project, DataForce by TransPerfect Feb 2022 — May 2022
• The project entailed training machine models on how to read specific road scenarios for the betterment of the developing self-driving cars.
• My job was to annotate what I feel is important to the self-driving car in terms of the importance of the object I was annotating.
• One thing I kept in mind was that the project relies on the accuracy of my annotations so I tried to be as precise as humanly possible.
• Also, I stayed consistent with my annotations throughout the creation of frames.
Sentiment Analysis - Text Annotation, TELUS International Oct 2020 — Jan 2022 (Remote Job)
• Listened to the recording and do sentiment analysis
• Identified the Intent and Emotion of the speaker in the audio
• Provided one Intent and Emotion for each segment/line of the transcript
• Classified the overall sentiment of the transcript: Positive, Neutral or Negative.
English Audio Transcription, TELUS International Aug 2019 — Sep 2021
• Listened to the audio file with much attention
• Matched every word in the audio with the provided text
• All missing words and timestamps were added
• Accuracy was of high priority and I was able to deliver 100%.
ABSA Annotation Project, TELUS International Mar 2019 — Oct 2020 (Remote Job)
• Read through each sentence and highlight all aspects (entities) with the appropriate tag - positive, negative, neutral or mixed. So, I tagged every sentence with multiple aspect tags and ONE overall tag for the entire sentence.
• Tagged the aspect/entity, not the sentiment attached.
• After all aspects had been tagged in all sentences – there should generally be at least one tag in every sentence – so I went back and tag entire sentences using the same system.
• Then, the entire item was tagged with a category/categories and created a third layer of color.
• Finally, I was able to teach the machines how to read and differentiate between real/sincere comments and sarcasm.
Text Prediction and AutoCorrect Competitive Analysis, TELUS International
Jun 2018 — Feb 2021 (Remote Job)
• Typed sentences into a Word Editor tool to observe when the text predictor function triggered, and tracked the performance of the text predictor (correct, incorrect, etc).
• Typed sentences into a Word editor tool to observe if auto-correct triggered for typographical errors and misspellings, and I evaluated if the auto-correct suggestion is correct. I also maintained a spreadsheet of the tallies.
• Assisted with the retyping of a corpus without the assistance of spell-checker or auto-correct tools. The intention was that the corpus will be re-written accurately but this process introduced naturally and common typographical errors.
• Delivered quality result to the client and was rated 100%.
Data Collector (Receipts and Invoice images collection), Lionbridge Technologies Jan 2018 — Jul 2019 Remote Job
• Found paper copies of receipts and/or invoices. Had some digitally, I printed them out.
• Crossed out any personally identifiable information using a marker or a phone app.
• Placed the paper receipt/invoice in one of the environments listed in the section Image Requirements>Environment.
• Took a photograph of the paper receipt/invoice using a smart phone and made sure that part of the environment background was showing in the picture.
