AmazonFulfillment-BFi9. Aug. 2021- Present
Stower/Picker
I love working for Amazon, the commitment to the customer is unrivaled. I have always sought out possible careers with companies that feel the customer is #1 and taking care of them is a priority. Amazon sets the standard for making the customer their primary focus.
Quality Sewing and Vacuum April 2018-March 2020
Retail Sales/Customer Service
Quality Sewing also understands the importance of putting the customer first. I got to demo for the customers some of the features of the cool machines we were selling. I also got to teach classes, cater our events, provide great customer service to include helping solve customer issues and recommending products for their project. It was important to be able to anticipate our customers needs and offer solutions within our product line. I was one of the newer people, as many had worked there 10 and even 20 plus years, so I was permanently laid off when covid shut down so many businesses.
DogCon Auto LLC June 2015-April 2018
Marketing/Office Manager
My husband and I ran this small used car lot. I oversaw the marketing and the paperwork. He handled most of the sales. I had to fill out and submit many DOL/DMV forms correctly, have knowledge of the product so that I could answer the questions as they would come up. The customer service in this job mainly consisted of answering questions about the vehicle, setting appointments, going through their purchase paperwork, and submitting their DOL paperwork.
AT&T-Cellular World Oct. 2012-May 2015
Retail Sales and Customer Service
While working for this 3rd party ATT retailer I was the top producing salesperson all but 5 months during my time there. Rising to #1 after only three weeks on the job. I loved the technology and began to build a name for myself word of mouth as someone who provided exceptional customer service. Some customers came from far away and would only work with me. This helped my sales numbers as people truly buy people not products. I grossed $320, 000 in my first year in sales and activations for the company, which was a little over 68k ahead of the rep who was in second place. I was a frequent speaker at our company wide monthly sales tele-conferences and was asked at times to travel to other locations that may have been struggling with a certain metric to train or work with customers so they could observe how I was able to be so successful.
Group Health Cooperative May 2010-Aug. 2012
Endoscopy/Surgical Technician/M.A.
I worked as an endoscopy tech in the gastro department. I was responsible for educating the patients on proper prepping for their procedure, setting up and tearing down 12 to 16 cases a day, assisting the doctor with specimen collection, cleaning and disinfecting the equipment, and sending it out for maintenance or repair when needed.
Sprint-Clearly Wireless/Daily Grind Espresso Sept. 2007-March 2010
Retail Store Manager/Espresso Drive-thru Manager
I was promoted to manager three weeks after I was hired as an associate. Two months later we opened an Espresso business with the drive thru window the space already had. I oversaw interviewing, hiring, training, firing, performance reviews, and scheduling of all employees. The owner lived in Oregon and had 12 other Sprint 3rd party locations, so I ran this store and the espresso business pretty much autonomously. Handled the ordering phones, merchandise, supplies, and everything for the coffee stand. Completed the bookkeeping, all the paperwork, depositing the money each night, and the payroll for both businesses. I also worked on the sales floor, leading my team in sales and giving them sales and customer service training. As a third-party retailer back in this period in cellular, if a customer had an issue, we had to go over the bill, find the mistake, and call customer service to advocate for the customer.
