Contract Specialist/Analyst Duties

- Ensured over 80% of project or transactional contracts/agreements entered into by the firm or its clients are thoroughly scrutinized and handled putting into consideration its transactional and legal implications to protect the interest of the firm, its staff or the client to reduce risk and avoid contractual losses and disputes.

- Negotiated, evaluated and reviewed terms of contracts agreed upon by parties on specific project or transaction and protected our client’s interests on such terms before execution of contract.

- Ensured over 30 contractual transactions involving the firm and/or its clients are carried out in line with its goals and objectives and the terms of the contracts are clearly understood by its staff, subcontractors and all parties to the agreement.

- Drafted and edited contractual clauses and provisions when needed.

Performed supervisory oversight functions in relation to key terms of over 50% of contracts prepared by ensuring that the terms and activities done by the Firm’s subcontractors are carried out in line with the agreed and defined contract specifications.

- On a periodical basis, prepared a report on each project being executed and highlighting specific details on whether the use of equipment, material and the quality of work done is in line with the terms of the Contract.

- Kept all stakeholders informed through each stage of the project or transaction of the terms and specifications of the contract by communicating directly with both the client and key staff of the client including the Senior Partner, Manager, Customer Service Manager, Marketers etc.

- Liaised with Customers/Clients who have contracted the firm’s services and walked them through the process of making transactional payments to the firm as part of its professional bill of charges

Answered and resolved contract related issues and queries posed by Clients.

- Prepared and securely stored data of the firm’s multi-cultural Client-base, confidential records and information such as designs, negotiating policies and general trade secrets.

Investigate loopholes and follow up on issues raised on the Contractual terms.

- Represented clients in law suits independently as well as in a team of lawyers with over 80% success rate.

- Interpreted and resolved several legal issues and reviewed business relationships between our clients and their business partners and ensured their relationships complied with legal procedures.

- Reviewed, communicated, and exchanged correspondences with clients, companies, realtors, law firms, vendors/purchasers, banks and financial institutions, managers, etc. on behalf of the firm.
