Responsibilities / Tasks:

Inspect review projects to monitor compliance with standards, Project Specification, and customer expectations.

Prepare Requests for Information (RFI) when necessary.

Advise on the installation, operation, maintenance, or repair of MEP systems and equipment, such as pumps, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) or water systems.

Review of Submissions such as Shop Drawing, Construction Plan & Schedule, and Calculation for the selection of Equipment etc.

Expertise in creating and reviewing comprehensive designs / plans, layouts, working drawings, construction details of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage and Firefighting System to ensure execution of projects within time and budgeted parameters.

Responsible for the installation of Chilled Water Piping Network and HVAC Equipment’s.

Maintain proper and complete communication with the client’s site discipline engineers on all mechanical project related issues.

Prepare engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, estimates and surveys.

To obtain any necessary approval for changing as appropriate procedure & for reforming requiring special procedures.

Scope : King Abdul-Aziz International Airport (KAIA) is a massive development. The development divided into 3 phases. The first phase includes construction of new terminal complex, 400,000 sq. m., replacing existing North and South Terminals, construction of 42 contact gates with air bridges, and construction of new control tower, communications, and Navigations System. The development will also include construction of new elevated access roads, interchanges and landside developments, new taxiways, and major new utilities networks (power, water, etc.).

Responsibilities / Tasks:

Responsible for the implementations and monitoring of all mechanical related works at site as per approved drawings and methods and safety rules.

Manage directly and provide engineering and technical supports to all the Mechanical work groups at site.

Plans the execution of all Mechanical related works and coordinates the works to Electrical and civil groups.

Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.

Supports the MEP Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the Mechanical and electrical groups at site.

Responsibilities / Tasks:

Conducts site supervision of on-going projects.

Maintains files of the approved shop drawings and approved material samples.

Checks and implements safety and fire protection measures and environmental control and general cleaning of project sites in compliance with standards.

Inspects materials upon arrival according to approved samples and submittals and ensures safe storage.

Plans, organizes, and performs survey work to determine the precise location according to approved sets of plans.
