éecoming Indepedent is a non-proqt organization that assists individuals with mental and physical disabilities live an independent life. I was part of their Social Enterprise department which brings in qnancial help to fund the programs at éecoming Independent. I started on the SMAYT train as a concessionist selling beverages and snacks. I then became a community coach where I was more hands on with the clients and assisting them in their daily tasks as well as helping them set goals that they want to accomplish. I then transfered to the éecoming Independent CafH where I was incharge of closing the cafH. My responsibilities were to make coffee, work the register, clean after we close, balance out the register, and lock the cafH. I was a sales associate. I worked on the register as well as on the Voor helping customers qnd the right sizes or answer any uestions they had about the apparel or footwear.
