Managed the daily affairs of six retail lumber yards and hardware centers and seven manufacturing/production facilities, including sales, human resources, purchasing, inventory audits, warehouse distribution, transportation, and maintenance.

Directed all activities, including the acquisition, of two businesses and all integration of operations.

Developed a new division within Burton Lumber, Install Services. Defined all aspects of the new division including hiring of managements, sales, contract negotiation, and job descriptions for in-house and contract labor. The division focused on installation of all retailed products for commercial and residential customers.

1979 – 2000

Production Control Planning and Dispatch Manager

Managed multiple suppliers, including all contract negotiations
