Expedite the procurement of the client approved materials and delivery to site and coordinate with the material Controller at site.

1. Managing inventory levels for ensuring ready availability to meet procurement & dispatch targets.

3. Scheduling material procurement plans for raw materials, process items & maintenance items.

4. Coordinating with other departments for material requirement planning, material procurement & purchase planning, ensuring continuous supply at optimum costs. 5. Handling sourcing through identification of cost-effective vendors/ suppliers for procurement with an aim of reducing cost while improving quality & reliability. 6. 2. Vendor Management

1. Steering strategic sourcing through identification of cost-effective vendors/ suppliers for procurement with an aim of reducing cost while improving quality & reliability.

2. Carrying out vendor localization/ indigenization for curtailing costs of materials as well as negotiating the terms of credit with vendors as well as the cost of material required.

3. Material Ware House Management

1. Preparing materials as per drawings requirements what the construction unit needs.

2. Follow up the materials as per the packing list and provides it for the construction. 3. Run the material details for suggested area as per the drawing basis. 4. Tracking and maintaining inventory levels in the stores for all items required in the plant.

5. Generating purchase orders as and when inventory levels reach reorder levels. 6. Managing the inventory levels, for ensuring ready availability of material to meet production and dispatch targets.

7. Ensuring proper documentation for in awarding of materials spares parts and consumables and check for variances by conducting stock verification. 8. Handling the inventory function so as to curtail inventory holding expenses and adherence to maximum and minimum stocking system for various items/spares/ and minimize wastage.

4. Supply Chain Management

1. Developing the existing network & effectively managing the supply chain, ensuring timely & cost-effective deliverables.

2. Managing logistics operations involving co-ordination with International Freight forwarders and clearing agents and other external agencies. 3. Supervising operations of cross functional units to achieve efficiency in all aspects of the customer’s service delivery cycle, ensuring timely delivery of products. 5. Team Management

1. Monitoring the team performance & building increased capability to take on new roles within the recruitment life cycle across locations. 2. Providing feedback & training to the team to strengthen operational, functional or behavioral competencies.

Domain Knowledge:

Internally works closely with all departments on issues related to procurement work processes especially confirmation and approvals for requisitions prior to processing them for purchases.

Externally has contact with regulatory personnel to ensure chemical permit requirements are identified and met, learn the ERP program modules associated with all procurement functions. Become a super user and subject matter expert (SME) for ERP procurement activities,

Physical identification of materials through specifications, as Materials for MEP construction like CS Pipes and fittings, DI Pipes and fittings GI and GRP Pipes and fittings like Bends, Tees, Reducers, Flanges, End Caps, Plugs, etc. Flanged Spigot Pipes, Strainers, Valves like Butterfly Valves, Air released Valves, Gate Valves, Ball Valves etc., Pipe Structural Supports like Columns, Beams, Gratings, also FOC materials, Electrical &Instrumentation materials etc. and Cables, Motors, Pumps, also cement, steel, aggregates, all kind of Consumable materials and tools, different equipment’s required for Mechanical and Electrical Constructions.

Around 5 years working experience in 2 countries with different International clients and consultants for Pipe line Construction, Petroleum Byproduct Units, Boilers, and Desalination Plants also Building Construction. Have Knowledge to read all type of drawings.

EMPLOYMENT PROFILE

At Present I have been working in Gulf Petrochemical Services & Trading LLC Oman, as Material Coordinator/Controller from October 2015 onwards for the Project of Oil & Gas transfer from Abu tubul to Bisat (OQ). Job Role:

-to assist Project Material Engineer to prepare the Material Assessment Sheet(MAS) to call and invite manufactures for discussion, and to get detailed catalogs other supporting documents for the submission of the MAS.

-meeting with the Manufactures, Consultant with Procurement Manager/officer regarding shifting or arrival and other terms and conditions of the order

-maintain MPTR of the Project Materials; follow up of the materials, storage and distribution of the materials.

-collecting Project materials from Supplier/Client as per site requirements and the follow up of the materials.

-maintaining the material yard and ware house as well as the store and to lead a group of store keepers, store assistants to control the materials.

-received details and proper documentation of materials from the client as shipment, Delivery Orders, Local Purchasing Orders, and material Issuing Vouchers etc.

-checking track record of the materials and also the inventory system.

-separate documentation of locally purchasing materials according to the urgent need of the site,

-internal material requisition follow up and arrangements, etc.

-maintained documents like incoming delivery notes, outgoing delivery notes, internal requisitions, LPO’s etc.
