Invoices, ordering, using a new program called DAX, Close all PULL numbers myself. Use HHT to salvage, order, close, see NIS’s, change Max and Mins. Physically put weights, cases ect. In the gun by scanning or manually. 7 administration Awards, received in 8 months, Not including monetary awards and 24 award hours. All in 8 months of being there.

Breakdowns, working in warehouse, freezer, chill, and meat to separate and put on proper pallets following FIFO, knowledge of where all dry, frozen and chill items are located.

Putting up and building shippers, creating labels, ESL’s and signs for price changes, new items scan-downs and PV’s utilizing the access via program.

Complete dry and chill salvage following DECA directives and policies. Was officially trained by lead of Dax program.

Receiving, credits and the ability to work the HHT gun for worksheets, DSD, DSDS and FDS trucks. Finalize proper corresponding paperwork. Conduct manual temperature checks, making sure all products being brought in are validated and truck temperature is correct Validate DSDS deliveries to include proper weight and sell by dates. Salvage random weight items on register to collect proper payment from corresponding companies.

Spot check store daily for broken and missing ESL’s and created new ones if necessary. Build and take down mass displays. Organize, set up, replenish, make signs, and take down side walk sales.

Find and pull expired merchandise from sales floor and backroom stock areas daily. Do salvage immediately to ensure BOH’s are adjusted prior to next order build.

Complete sanitation in all aspects of the store.

Organize warehouse by comity, vender buybacks, club packs, shippers and holiday merchandise. Stock shelves, build end caps, build mass displays, and build wing stacks using proper merchandising techniques. Pull display products and fill isles if needed. Pull patrons special orders from the warehouse, freezer and chill boxes.

Knowing if outer (Primary) packages of products are still good unless secondary packaging has been compromised.

Check if C-Move processed. If pulls aren’t closed do not start counting. When is an issue arises, report issue to Manager as soon as possible and call Deca help desk Immediately.

Check order builds, to ensure the order builds properly.

Maintain the Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) system with current, accurate data to ensure optimal order quantities are calculated necessary to sustain customer demands.

Use radio-frequency hand-held terminals to gather data necessary to update and adjust inventory.

Record and update Balance on Hand (BOH) data; maintain perpetual inventory and audit credits.

Perform daily inventory audit of items not-in-stock and overwrite items.

Evaluate stock levels of all CAO categories daily by physically reviewing the storage and display shelf locations, shippers and warehouse.

Interface with all levels of management and deal directly with commercial distributor/vendor stocking representatives on issues affecting CAO

Ensuring product labels, pricing labels, and ESL’s are properly placed, ensuring they are secured and easily identified.

Investigate why products are NIS, why products not on CMF and check planograms for accuracy, and contact deca sales team for information.

Make sure empty shelves are marked appropriately for customers to know if items are new and will come in soon or if it’s a manufacture issue.

Keep a look out for all new items to be cut into shelves as fast as possible.

Customer service is important. Try to order products customers are used to having, if allowed, to keep them a recurring loyal patron in your store and know they can depend on the commissary having products they enjoy.

Receive over writes from the QAE, and make sure zero/negative reports are done first thing in the morning.

Think ahead! Consider your clientele and order products that will appeal to their interests.

Preform manual ordering, cycle counts and promotional scanning.

Maintain adequate stock of perishable and non-perishable items.

Replenish depleted stock with newly delivered merchandise and back stock.

Check daily for damaged, spoiled, and out of date merchandise.

Use proper receiving techniques.

Check and monitor proper temperatures for freezers and refrigerators.

Manually order seasonal items, not activate.

Repour with Vender representatives

Make sure your sections are accurately counted and max and mins and facings are set correctly, Teamwork, help another CAO when employees/reps ask a question, do not tell them it’s someone else’s section.

Make sure you print report to research lows and holes.

Logoff! When done with the HHT.

Complete indoor housekeeping functions including cleaning, dusting, mopping and emptying trash in all areas of the store. Work with a variety of cleaning supplies and chemicals. Some housekeeping functions will require the use of a ladder.

Check expiration codes and inspect all items once during shift. Properly rotate product, pull expired items, document and discard.

Use a handheld device to record and use inventory. Include checking in external and internal vendors according to corporate procedures.

Responsible for taking out trash. Operate trash and/or cardboard compactor.

Stocking and cleaning the beverage area.

Must be able to adapt to abrupt temperature changes when moving from one environment to another.
