Serve as founder’s Executive Assistant to include extensive calendaring, travel arrangements, gatekeeping duties, correspondence and helping President maintain highest level of productivity, to include rapid shifts in priority.

MIT ENTERPRISE FORUM OF ATLANTA 2006 – 2018

The MIT Enterprise Forum was a non-profit extension of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Alumni Association whose mission was to promote technology entrepreneurship, innovation, and business development. The Atlanta chapter annually hosted 8-10 events with tech topics ranging from 3D printing, stem cell innovation to crypto currency.

This was an all-volunteer organization except for the Executive Director.

Served as Chairman’s Executive Assistant for association-related tasks and projects, including scheduling, developing meeting agendas, Power Point presentations, minutes and action item follow up for all.

1996 ATLANTA PARALYMPIC ORGANIZING COMMITTEE 1994 – 1996

The 1996 Atlanta Paralympic Games were a world class, Olympic-style competition for elite athletes with physical disabilities. Begun in Rome, Italy in 1960, the Paralympics are held directly after the Olympic Games.

Account Director, 1995 – 1996

Served as marketing liaison between nine major sponsors and the organizing committee. Negotiated and implemented final sponsorship contracts and deal points critical to the success of the Paralympic Games. Executed donation of equipment and services. Coordinated programs totaling $15 million in corporate sponsorships, including Kodak, Delta Air Lines, Sports Illustrated, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, WSB Radio and Sunrise Medical.

Directed sponsor announcement events including: coordination with sponsors, media, audio and video support team, and Atlanta corporate community. Developed a monthly sponsor newsletter. Co-produced sponsor hospitality, recognition, and signage programs. Involved development, management and execution of complex, high profile projects. Coordinated semi-annual sponsor marketing workshops. Included total event planning and execution of two-day events for 250+ guests.

CHILDREN’S HEALTHCARE OF ATLANTA 1987 – 1994

Children’s collaborates on the Children's Miracle Network, a year-round fund-raising and public relations campaign for children’s hospitals nationwide. I was Executive Director of this campaign. The program culminates during an annual telethon featuring sponsors, former patients and hospital representatives.
