Photocatalysis (Photodegration of waste water or dyes using photocatalyst)
Abstract:
In recent years, there has been an enormous amount of research and development in area of heterogeneous photo catalytic water purification process due to its effectiveness in degrading and mineralizing the recalcitrant organic compounds as well as the possibility of utilizing the solar UV and visible spectrum. Zno nano particle’s with crystalline size in the rang 26.59 nm were prepared by solution hydrothermal method and photo catalytic degradation of Rhoda mine-B, methyl orange, methylene blue with ZnO nano particle’s has been studied. The result reveal that the maximum degradation of dyes occurred with ZnO nano particles under solar light irradiation compared to the UV light irradiation.

Abstract:
` The synthesis of Fe-HAP/PVA composite using microwave irradiation method at 720 W by varying the aging time as 12 h, 24 h and 48 h. calcium nitrate, iron nitrate, di ammonium hydrogen phosphate and PVA were used as the calcium, iron, phosphate and polymer precursors respectively. Further product was checked for the purity by various tools like FT_IR, XRD and SEM. The formation of Nano sized Fe-HAP/PVA composite at 48 h aging time which is considered as the optimum condition for the synthesis composite size via microwave irradiation method. Also the biocompatibility of the Fe-HAP/PVA composite was tested by in vitro cell viability test on L929 cell line, which exhibited good biocompatibility than control sample
