Most of my career in construction have been working for the New York State Department of Health. I have extensive experience in construction inspection, Construction methods and materials, contract documents and specifications, Project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, development of SOW and cost estimates, creation of architectural drawings and documents for non-residential and Residential Projects.

As part of my work for the NYS Dept of Health, I oversaw the construction projects of 4 Major Veteran nursing home facilities projects, over 2 million (SQFT) and one Rehabilitation Hospital monitoring the full design & construction process from start to finish.

I conducted site inspections routinely between the construction sites for compliance with all applicable NFPA CODE, National Building Codes, Specifications & Standards and to ensure all projects stay within the budget and schedule.

I have skills with computers and smartphones, and in the use of Microsoft Office, familiar, with chief architect software, Builder trend, Procore, Foundation and CADD.

I am currently retired and interested in a Project Manager/construction manager or superintendent position.

Education: BS in Architectural Engineering

Currently holding a FEMA badge as a contractor to assist them during hurricane season.

Major accomplishments; Oversaw Montrose Veterans design and construction from 1999-2001. Cost 57m – Oxford Veterans Nursing design and Construction from 2007-2011 cost 77m.

I demonstrated my managerial skills for emergency preparation and repairs during 2012 Hurricane Sandy which left one of the major NYS Veterans nursing home without Con Edison power for weeks, by designing and leasing a 127-480 V mobile generator prior to Hurricane Sandy in addition to a permanent one in the building, keep the building operational without having 220 Veterans to evacuate the building and then initiated a project to add a permanent backup generator to all building under his watch.
