Tanker Driver

Environmental Alternatives, LLC (EAI), Clarksburg, MD – 3/2017 - Present

Operate 48-foot tanker trailers to transport over 380,000 lbs of water waste from the landfill reservoir to the water waste disposal site in multiple service locations.

Complete a daily pre/post-trip inspection of vehicles to ensure all mechanisms adhere to the Department of Transportation (DOT) laws and regulations.

Trainer on various driver positions for potential employees that resulted in gaining the experience of communicating effectively with co-workers for advanced placement.

Assist with tipper trailers and walking floor trailers to transport solid waste materials from multiple locations to the landfill which resulted in 79,000 lbs of daily waste being recycled.

CDL Driver

EF Thompson, Fredericksburg, VA – 9/2014- 3/2017

Operated commercial vehicles over 65,000 lbs. in cooperation with US Postal Mail which resulted in 400 time-sensitive deliveries transported safely each year.

Prepared daily logs, completed a daily pre/post-trip inspection of vehicles including traffic conditions that lead to communicating with supervisory personnel of potential rerouting problems in loading and unloading complex deliveries.

Assisted with unload and loading deliveries with a pallet jack which stemmed from over 50 lbs. pallets of condensed materials anticipating being transported.

TAC Transport, Forestville, MD – 5/2012-8/2012

Operated tipper trailers in waste landfills, distributed more than 8,000 tons of trash daily, and accumulated load receipts for organizational reference of waste handling services.

Maintained a proper uniform and notified environmental service of any potential hazardous conditions relating to the transfer station maintenance, loading and litter control.

Ensured the cleanness of vehicle and prepared daily driving logs during pre/post-inspections for compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) safety regulations.
